BreezyOne deploys a fleet of disinfection robots at Houston airports

New Mexico based, Build with Robots announced that it has deployed a fleet of BreezyOne disinfection AMRs to both the George Bush Intercontinental and William P. Hobby Airports in Houston, TX.

The BreezyOne is an aerosol disinfection mobile robot built on top of the Fetch Robotics AMR base. Each individual unit is capable of disinfecting 150,000 square feet per hour. This makes it an ideal solution for large, expansive, public space like an airport terminals.

The BreezyOne is fully autonomous, which means that it can easily be programmed to operate during the overnight hours, after the janitors have cleaned the facility, and while no one is present. The onboard disinfectant fogger creates a fine mist of disinfectant that coats all surfaces in the room.

The solution leverages all of the autonomous capability of the Fetch Robotics AMR platform. It is easy to setup and map a new facility, then define the operational paths for the disinfection operation.

The system has obstacle detection and will not run into anything in its path, even if the environment changes from time to time.

The solution also provides a full reporting feature that enables facility managers to manage the system and ensure that disinfection operations are completed.

Originally developed to help disinfect facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic, the BreezyOne can effectively disinfect a large public area like an airport terminal, and destroy germs for any number of communicable diseases. It is a cost effective and efficient method to disinfect large areas. The company promotes a greater than 99.99% efficacy.
