 May 20, 2020

By  Mike Oitzman

Geek Plus launches two new facility disinfection solutions. Both AMRs are built on top of the mature Geek Plus AMR base and offer disinfection for two different needs.

For applications where extensive surface sterilization is required, the Geek Plus Lavender the right solution. This robot utilizes an AMR base with a UV-C light payload on top. UV-C light is a well known sterilization solution. The Lavender AMR uses light in the 254 nano meter wavelength. No details yet on run time or the number of sterilization cycles between battery charges.

For applications where broader facility disinfection is required, the Geek Plus Jasmin robot utilizes a sprayer unit on top of a Geek Plus AMR. Capable of 3 L/hr spray speed, Jasmin can deploy a peroxide or peracetic acid solution broadly, throughout the facility.
