Geek Plus partners with Conveyco

By Mike Oitzman | May 19, 2020

Beijing based autonomous mobile robot supplier Geek Plus (Geek+) announces a strategic relationship with Bristol, CT based systems integrator Conveyco. The relationship enables Conveyco to sell, integrate and deploy Geek Plus’s complete line of autonomous mobile robotic (AMR) solutions across North America.

Conveyco has been building and deploying conveyance solutions for over 40 years and they are one of the premier North American warehouse solution integrators. Conveyco offers solutions across a broad spectrum of warehouse technologies including AMRs, robotics picking, sortation solutions, palletizing robots and all of the various integrated warehouse software solutions.

Geek+ Begins Expansion into North America

“We are pleased to be partnering with Conveyco to accelerate access to AMR solutions in North America.” commented Rick DeFiesta, Partnership and Business Development Director at Geek+. “The demonstrated efficiency, scalability and cost-saving of Geek+ solutions will bring significant value and enable flexible logistics for customers across industries, at a time where logistics bottlenecks are increasing.”

Geek+ is one of the market leaders worldwide according to Interact Analysis, with 10% market share. Conveyco represents a large, mature channel partner with a well known brand name and the ability to execute.

“The breadth of field proven AMR technologies that Geek+ provides allows Conveyco to truly focus on our clients use and business case to provide them a scalable and cost-effective solution,” said Ed Romaine, VP Marketing & Business Development. He continued, “Being able to implement Conveyco’s RightFIT™ methodology using Geek+ technologies will provide efficiencies and competitive advantages to our clients that will change their market dynamics.”

Conveyco Gains Access to a Proven Solution

The distribution agreement allows Conveyco to offer Geek+ robotics solutions to improve efficiency, provide flexibility, and reduce costs associated with warehouse and logistics operations in various industries.

With regard to fast-growing industries, such as e-commerce and online retail, traditional manual warehouse operations cannot meet customer and market demands efficiently and accurately and will benefit from the joint offering. Conveyco is experienced at delivering turnkey solutions that improve warehouse operations.

Bottom line, this relationship benefits both parties as the market for AMRs grows in the coming years.
