Geek+, a global leading AMR provider, and Bosch Rexroth, one of the world’s leading supplier of drive and control technologies, today announced a technology partnership to develop and leverage the latest technologies for autonomous mobile robots (AMR) that will bring enhanced smart logistics solutions to customers around the world.
According to the announcement this partnership will include collaboration on advanced mobile robotic technologies. It will also include software development that will deliver enhanced intelligence for AMRs.
As one of the leading worldwide AMR providers, Geek+ has over 10,000 vehicles installed across a variety of customers including Nike, Decathlon, Walmart, Dell, and others. Geek+ AMRs operate primarily in goods to person and sortation applications in warehouses and 3PL facilities.
Bosch Rexroth is one of the leading worldwide suppliers of drive and control technologies, and is part of a multi billion euro public organization with 79B Euro revenues in 2019. This is a marriage of two deep pocketed organization with the capabilities to make a real difference in the market.
According to the announcement, the partnership will bring together the expertise of the two industry leaders in their respective domains to create value-added solutions for Geek+ customers to improve their own logistics operations.
